- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile details (such as school / institute information)
- Student class, roll number and/or student ID
1.2 Login & Technical Information
- Login data (such as registered email used for sign-in)
- Device and usage information, such as:
- Browser type
- Device model and operating system
1.3 Academic Information
- Exam participation details
- Exam results, scores and attempt history
We do not collect government IDs (like Aadhaar), payment details or other highly sensitive personal data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage student accounts
- Allow students to log in securely to CTS Online
- Conduct mock tests and exams
- Store and display exam results and performance analytics
- Improve app performance, reliability and user experience
- Maintain the security of the app and prevent misuse or fraud
We do not use your information for personalised advertising or marketing campaigns.
3. Use of Firebase Services
CTS Online uses Google Firebase as a secure backend service.
- Firebase Firestore – for storing student profiles, exam data and results.
- Firebase Authentication (if enabled in the app) – for secure login and account management.
Firebase acts as a data processor and helps us operate the app. Firebase does not use your data for advertising on our behalf. For more information, please review Firebase’s Privacy & Security documentation .
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third-party company for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your data is only processed by:
- Cosmos Institute – for academic and administrative purposes.
- Our technology partner Ice Penguin SoftTech – for app development and maintenance.
- Google Firebase – as our secure cloud infrastructure provider.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers and protected using industry-standard security measures, including:
- Secure user authentication
- Restricted access controls
- Encrypted connections between the app and the server (HTTPS)
While we aim for a high level of security, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. However, we continuously work to protect your information against unauthorized access, modification or destruction.
6. Children and Students
CTS Online is primarily intended for students of schools and educational institutions. Use by students under 18 should be under the guidance of parents, guardians or the institution.

- Update or correct your information
- Request deletion of your account and related data (where applicable)

8. Retention of Information
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed for academic and administrative purposes, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. When data is no longer required, we aim to delete or anonymise it securely.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of CTS Online after such changes means you accept the updated policy.
